M&E Co-Ordinator / MEP Manager

MCS Group are working with a well-established construction and fit-out contractor to recruit an M&E Coordinator / MEP Manager to join their project delivery team.

This organisation operates within a high-quality project environment and is known for delivering complex construction and fit-out projects across multiple sectors. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination across a range of live projects while working closely with senior leadership and project teams.

The Role

The M&E Coordinator / MEP Manager will act as the lead for all building services elements across a number of projects, reporting directly to the Operations Director and working closely with project, commercial and design teams.

You will;

• Review project documentation from an MEP perspective, identifying risks, design issues and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate the MEP design process with subcontractors, consultants and project teams to ensure buildable solutions
• Manage and lead MEP subcontractors across live projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and handover of building services systems
• Liaise with operational, commercial and procurement teams to support efficient and compliant project delivery

The Ideal Candidate;

• Proven experience in an M&E Coordinator, Building Services Manager or MEP Manager role within construction
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems and construction practices
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements within the construction industry
• Strong communication, organisation and reporting skills with high attention to detail
