Kathy Donaghey

Kathy joined MCS Group in March 2022 and is the Technical and Engineering Manager within the business. In this role, Kathy works closely with employers and candidates across the manufacturing sector, supporting hiring processes from initial brief through to successful placement. Day to day, this involves partnering with organisations to understand their technical requirements and advising professionals on career opportunities within engineering and manufacturing environments.

Kathy specialises in recruitment within the manufacturing industry, with particular expertise in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. She works across a broad range of roles, from graduate-level positions through to senior and director-level appointments.

A key strength lies in her detailed understanding of highly regulated manufacturing environments, alongside the ability to connect technical talent with organisations where she can make a meaningful impact. 

Before joining MCS Group, Kathy worked within a medical device manufacturing company and also gained experience as a sales manager, bringing a commercial and operational perspective to their recruitment approach.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, walking and hiking, as well as spending time with her three daughters, granddaughter and two dogs.
